Located in the Gulf of Thailand and approximately 185 kilometers from Bangkok, the Cha-Am / Hua Hin campus is just a stone’s throw away from Hua Hin Beach. Other points of interest nearby include the Summer Palace of King Rama VI, a number of golf courses and the impressive Khao Takiab Temple. With a vast selection of beaches, national parks and picturesque coastlines nearby the campus, you’ll have the opportunity to see some of Thailand’s finest scenery.

Webster Thailand Cha-Am / Hua Hin campus is specifically designed to give undergraduate students a welcoming, personalized and supportive study environment.   • Summer term: May 22 – July 16, 2017

The Cha-Am/Hua Hin campus also offers a Fall 2 and Spring 2 intake.

Study options

At Webster University you can enroll as a study-abroad student for 1-2 semesters or for a full bachelor’s or master’s degree. Please contact StudySEA for a full list of courses offered. When you study at bachelor level, 12 to 15 credits usually correspond to 30 ECTS points. At graduate level, 9 to 12 credits corespond to 30 ECTS points.

Student housing

Several off-campus student housing options are available in Hua Hin. You can live with style in serviced apartments located just five minutes walk from the white sandy beaches. The units are modern and offers facilities such as swimming pool, fitness, library and much more are very affordable prices. In Bangkok you have the choice of finding your own housing or stay in the housing recommended by Webster University.

Entry requirements

To be accepted as a study-abroad student, you will need to satisfy the following:

  • have completed and passed upper secondary school (gymnasium/videregående)
  • meet the pre-requisites for the subjects you are applying to
  • Meet the English language requirements (check with StudySEA for your country’s requirements)

Tuition fees

As a study-abroad student you are required to pay tuition fees to the university. The tuition for study-abroad students per semester in 2016 is:

  • 198,000 Thai Baht for studies at bachelor level
  • 183,900 Thai Baht for studies at master level

Application fee

There is no application fee for students applying through StudySEA. The normal application fee is 50 dollars (USD).

How to apply

To apply as a study-abroad student, you will need to complete the application form and submit it to StudySEA with your supporting documents per below:

  • Application form (study-abroad)
  • Certified copy of transcripts in English from your home institution (if you are currently enrolled)
  • Certified copy of bachelor degree certificate in English (if you are applying for subjects at master level)
  • Certified Copy of upper secondary school leaving certificate in English (videregående/gymnasium)
  • Copy of  your valid passport
  • English language test (check with StudySEA to see if you are exempt)

Student visa

After you are officially accepted for study at Webster University Thailand (WUT), your visa application process will commence. Immigration law in Thailand changes quite often. StudySEA will guide you through the visa application processs and direct you to your nearest Thai embassy or consulate. Student visa normally take approximately one week to process, but we recommend you to plan early.
