The University of the Sunshine Coast is located in Queensland on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. The university’s main campus is located in Sippy Downs – a suburb to Sunshine Coast. You can choose to live next to campus, near the beach or in other parts of the region. Three privately–owned, fully–furnished student accommodation complexes are conveniently located next to the university. UniCentral, Varsity Apartments and The Village are a short walk to campus via connected pathways and are close to public transport and the local shopping centre. To be accepted as a study-abroad student, you will need to satisfy the following:
- have successfully completed at least one semester of study at a recognised tertiary institution, or
- have completed and passed upper secondary school (gymnasium/videregående)

As a study-abroad student you are required to pay tuition fees to the university. The tuition for study-abroad students per semester in 2015 is:
- 8,900 Australian Dollars (AUD) for studies at bachelor level
- 11,000 Australian Dollars (AUD) for studies at master level
